Journey Surrogacy is a boutique surrogacy agency located in the heart of the Midwest. Our agency is founded on a basis of bridging the gap that a large and a small surrogacy agency leave behind.
Surrogacy is one of the largest investments of time and financial resources a family will make, and too often is one of the last resorts after other extensive costs and procedures.
Although independent journey’s are possible, an agency allows both the surrogate and the intended parent(s) to enjoy to surrogacy process and leave the details to us to coordinate.
A successful journey is based on diligent screening and coordination.
Journey Surrogacy uses third parties for psychological, medical records reviews, escrow account management and background checks to ensure unbiased results for intended parents and surrogates. Journey Surrogacy specializes in surrogates in pre-birth order states.
What is a Surrogate?
A surrogate is someone that agrees to carry a pregnancy for another family. This family could be a couple or an individual who is unable to carry the pregnancy on their own. The child is not biologically related to the surrogate.
Surrogates help others become parents despite circumstances that prevent them from carrying a pregnancy on their own. Infertility or underlying health conditions may make a pregnancy dangerous. Same-sex couples that wish to have a biological child may also pursue the help of a surrogate.
